The 40 winners of the City of Allentown’s “Catch a Young Person Doing Something Right” campaign were honored at a reception on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Allentown's City Hall.

The Allentown School District congratulates all of the winners and recognizes that a number of the students selected represent our schools.

Launched in 2012, the “Catch a Young Person Doing Something Right” campaign is a way to recognize young people who contribute to the well-being of Allentown.

Mayor Ray O’Connell said, “Allentown is a diverse city that is proud to be home to so many young people who are hitting the books and/or looking out for the well-being of others.  It is a privilege to recognize their achievements and acknowledge the teachers, neighbors, mentors and others who took the time to bring them to our attention.”

Each of the honorees will receive certificates from the mayor.
