Summer Food Service Program Information

For Families

Summer Meals Program will operate from Thursday, June 22, 2023 - Tuesday, August 11, 2023.

The following locations will be open sites (any school-aged children are welcome to attend – children do not need to be students enrolled in the Allentown School District to participate at open sites)
- Trexler Middle School
- South Mountain Middle School

Meal service times at these locations will be 11:00AM-1:00PM

Families are encouraged to enter through the main office and will be directed to the cafeteria.  Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria.  Adults over 18 years old wishing to eat with their family can get a lunch at a discounted rate of $1.00/per meal.

Sites interested in participating in becoming a Summer Meals Participant should contact the Child Nutrition Office for details.

Through a partnership with the Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council and the United Way, the Summer Food Service Program is offered free food and fun for kids and teens all summer long. Between June - August, families can call 2-1-1 for more information.
