ALLENTOWN, PA — At the August 25, 2022, regular meeting, the ASD Board of Directors approved the appointment of several educators to better support and engage students, staff, and families this school year.

Dr. Robert Robinson has accepted the position of Chief of Culture, Equity & Advancement. Dr. Robinson most recently served as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Northampton Community College, and brings 15+ years of experience leading DEI work in higher education.

Dr. Robert Dilliplane will become the district’s Director of Virtual Learning.  Dr. Dilliplane is a bilingual educator and former high school principal. With the increase in online learning options for students since the pandemic, it is critical that the district be able to support students and families who elect to learn online. ASD’s Virtual Campus program serves students in K-12  using an asynchronous platform called Imagine Learning.

At the building level, Nadine Coulter will join the district as the new Assistant Principal at Harrison Morton Middle School The district also approved dozens of new classroom teachers and support staff who are excited to connect with our students and families this school year.

Additionally, some familiar faces will move into new spaces this school year, including:

- Brandy Sawyer, Executive Director of Curriculum & Educator Supports

- Jennifer Bryant, Senior Executive Director of Elementary Schools
-
Matthew Pile, Executive Director of Elementary Schools
-
Dr. Ramona Hollie-Major, Director of Grants
- Michelle Kloiber, Supervisor of Instruction, Harrison Morton Middle School
