Tonya M. Harris Esq. Appointed to Allentown School District Foundation Board of Directors
Serving the children of the 3rd largest urban school district in Pennsylvania, the Allentown School District Foundation (ASDF) Board of Directors voted at its board meeting on February 1 the board appointment of Tonya M. Harris, Esq.
"We are excited to add Tonya to our board,” says Kurt D. Zwikl, ASDF president. “As a graduate of William Allen High School, she has a sincere interest in the welfare of Allentown students, and their success. Her commitment to the cause is true Canary blue.”

Tonya Harris attended Allentown School District as a student at Hiram Dodd Elementary School, South Mountain Middle School and William Allen High School, Class of 1994. Having graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Tonya continued her education and earned a juris doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law in 2009. Harris today serves as litigation counsel of PPL Services Corporation in Allentown, PA, after gaining litigation experience at several Philadelphia-based firms including White and Williams LLP; Wilbraham Lawler and Buba, PC; and earlier, internships at Judge Raymond A. Means, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and the Public Interest Law Center. Harris holds bar admissions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Active in the community, Harris serves as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley, the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. She, her husband Jason, and daughter Fiona reside in Breinigsville.
